A little about me

I am a proud tribal belonging to the Bodo community of Northeast India. Mountains and hills have a mesmerizing and hypnotic effect on me. I love Mother Nature and I feel a sense of belonging with it. Although I have a large group of acquaintances from across the World, I enjoy company of close friends and family. My close friends call me "Gun" or "Gun Lee". I am an inked guy, and have two meaningful Tattoos in my body. I'm active in social services and has volunteered with Global youth organisations. My Guruji is Sri Sri Ravi Shankar of the Art of Living Foundation. I'm spiritual and God loving person. I know that a Guardian Angel is looking after me, and I feel lucky to be under its blessing. Lot of people have experienced that when they are thinking or talking about me, I visit them a moment later. I believe it to be a divine blessing, and they think that I will live long.

Things I Do

Entrepreneurship

I am a National Award winning serial entrepreneur, and currently managing businesses in Agri-Fintech, Organic Agriculture and Renewable Energy. I have been an entrepreneur since 2010, and have mentored few startups across India. I work primarily in the social sector and have been working passionately to uplift the rural community.

Academic

Since 2016, I have been academically associated as Guest Faculty on Entrepreneurship and Skill Development with various educational institutions across India, including my alma mater, IIM Indore. Through my academic involvement, I pursue to motivate young minds to becoming job creators and contributing to the economy.

Writing

I have been writing since the age of 10 and has contributed to blogs, magazines, journals and songs for rock bands. I primarily write non-fictions, fictions, poetry, songs, essays in Bilingual languages of Hindi and English. I have e-published books through Amazon's Kindle Direct Publishing, and my e-books are available at Amazon website across the world.

Creativity

Two of my ebooks are available at my Amazon's Author Central page. The e-books The Himalayan Expedition & The Race Against Time are available online for purchase at the Amazon's website. My other writings like poetry, essay etc. were available online, but now they are removed, as I am compiling them as a poetry book and novels, and shall be available as an eBook soon. I also enjoy photography, but prefer clicking Mother Nature and its beauty, objects and living beings, other than humans.

Entrepreneurship

I started my entrepreneurial journey with Renewable Bazaar, a marketplace for renewable energy product and services in 2010, while studying Business Management at IIM Indore. I am currently managing startups in the Organic Agriculture and Renewable Energy sector. My company Jeev Anksh Eco Products (P) Ltd. provides forward market linkages for organic farmers of Northeast India. It won the first ever National Entrepreneurship Award 2016 (SC/ST Category), and was awarded by the MoSDE, Govt. of India. JeevAnksh is supplying quality organic food products in the domestic as well as Global market. My other company Farmeasy Technologies (P) Ltd. provides affordable financial services like Loan and insurance for smallholder farmers of India. It use block-chain technologies to facilitate financial guarantee to the majority of the population (BoP) that doesn't have access to capital.

Academic

I enjoy sharing ideas and interacting with the youth, and mentoring them to get a direction in their professional life. I feel fortunate to be teaching Entrepreneurship to the best minds in the country. The youth are the driving force of the economic growth of any country, and by my humble contribution, I'm trying to contribute to the economy of my country, India. I teach the youth to be a job creator instead of becoming a job seeker. To achieve this, I teach Entrepreneurship Orientation to the participants of the PGDM programme at IIM Indore, my alma mater. I am open to explore such opportunities with other institutes of repute across the world.
